Pre-requisite: Junior Standing, Minimum C- in FINC 334 Prerequisite: Junior standing or above.
Class Notes
This course explores the intersection of finance and sustainability, with emphasis on firm valuation analysis. It will introduce how sustainability (i.e. environmental, social, and governance (ESG)) issues have become financially material for corporations, risk management, and investments in capital markets.  Topics include environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, impact investing, ESG risk and cost of capital, and financial valuation methodologies. Learning outcomes: Understand the principles of sustainable finance and firm valuation using discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis.
