Description
Dissertation preparation course, for when student has completed coursework but before student has defended their dissertation proposal. Can be taken only twice during a doctoral student's career at LUC.

Outcomes: This course is an independent study course supervised by a research advisor; The purpose of the course is to enable PhD students to maintain full-time status while they complete their dissertation; Specific goals will vary for individual students, but in general, PhD students should be maturing as researchers and beginning to establish intellectual independence.
