Prerequisites: EABA 400, EABA 405, and EABA 415.

Behavioral Assessment is designed to introduce students to a range of behavioral assessment methods that can inform how to create effective interventions. The course focuses on integrating cultural and social validity in behavior assessments. Emphasis is placed on applying ethical and evidence-based practices in assessment.

Outcomes: Demonstrate competency in behavioral assessment methods; Integrate cultural and social validity in behavioral assessments; Conduct functional behavior assessments and interpret data; Collaborate across disciplines to improve assessment outcomes; Apply ethical and evidence-based practices in assessment; Demonstrate proficiency in behavioral data collection and interpretation; Exhibit mastery of course content through assessments and practical application.
