Description
This course traces the transformation of Britain's oldest colony into an independent nation between the seventeenth and twentieth centuries.

Outcomes: Students will develop an understanding of how Irish nationalism shaped British and Irish history and use Ireland as a template to develop critical thinking and communications skills about the transformation of colonies into independent states.
