Description
Prerequisites: SOCL 301 or equivalent. Familiarity with R, Stata, SAS, or SPSS necessary.

Students will analyze this year's iteration of the annual Cook County Community Survey. They will draw on the data to prepare written, public-facing reports, public presentations, and scholarly research.

Outcomes: Describe the strengths and limitations of modern polling techniques; Use statistical software to analyze survey data; Communicate findings from surveys to a broad audience orally and in written form.
