Description
Intensive study of specific topics in the field of American culture between 1700 and 1900.

Outcomes: Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of significant works by selected American authors, of the historical political, social and intellectual backgrounds that provide a context for the works studied, and of relevant theoretical and critical perspectives.
Enrollment Requirements
Pre-requisites: UCWR 110 and one 200-level English course.
