Political processes in cities and other local governments, Examination of mayors, city councils, bureaucrats, and their interaction with local citizens and interest groups.

Outcomes: Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of urban governments, the patterns of political participation and behavior of diverse individuals and groups in urban politics, and evaluate the roles and processes of urban political institutions.
