This course will be required for the Master of Arts in Medical Sciences (MAMS) program. It will include readings related to developing the student's physician persona, and writings that are required for the medical school application process.
Pre-requisites: Admission to the MA in Medical Sciences program.
Outcomes: Students will be prepared to write effective primary and secondary essays for their medical school applications; communicate clearly their motivation to pursue a career in medicine and the relevance of their experiences to their pre-medical preparation.
