Description
This course analyzes films that focus on justice, the law, and the legal system, to see what they tell us about political and legal culture, and what messages (if any) they have for contemporary politics.

Outcomes: Student will analyze how Hollywood portrays law, policy, and major trials and court decisions as well as be able to locate and ask questions about how the depiction of law, politics, and civic responsibility have changed across time.
