Description
This course surveys the history of the world since 1400 by introducing students to the origins of diverse people and the intellectual, social, political, and economic developments of their societies to the present.

Outcomes: Students will gain an understanding of history as a discipline; differentiate intellectual, social, political, and economic aspects between and among diverse people and their societies; place contemporary global issues within their historical contexts; and develop critical thinking and communications skills.
