Description
Prerequisites: ANTH 100, PLSC 102, PSYC 100, SOCL 101, WSGS 101, or equivalent; please check requirements for declared majors/minors for exceptions.

Overview of psychological research and theory concerning differences and similarities between genders. In this course, students will engage psychological research and theory to examine the influence of gender on all aspects of life. In general, emphasis will be placed on understanding gender as a social psychological construct.

Outcomes: Students will understand similarities and differences between genders, comprehend the diversity of ideas about gender and how ideas of gender are determined by societies and cultures.
