Description
These courses offer in-depth reading, research, and discussion in specialized areas dealing with current issues in multimedia journalism. Course titles and content vary. May be repeated for up to 9 hours, but only 6 may count toward the major.

Prerequisite: COMM 175, or DMST student.

Class Notes
This class will focus on sports reporting, writing and editing for print, broadcast and the internet. Students will learn how to write sports broadcast copy and how to put together a radio sportscast and a television sports package. They will learn the how to do play-by-play for radio and television, write sports commentaries for radio and television. They will learn to write a sports blog, social media, and create a sports website. No prerequisites
