Description
This course will cover Milton's early poetry, one or two of his prose works, and his late, major poems: Paradise Lost, Paradise Regained, and Samson Agonistes.

Outcomes: Students will be able to: 1) demonstrate an understanding of Milton's major works, and a knowledge of his career; 2) demonstrate an understanding of social, political, and cultural backgrounds as they provide a context for Milton's poems; 3) demonstrate an understanding of relevant theoretical and critical perspectives.
Enrollment Requirements
Pre-requisites: UCWR 110 and one 200-level English course.
