Description
This course is a study of cases, statutes, and legal principles relevant to the formation, regulation and dissolution of the family unit, and to legal obligations which arise incident to the family relationship. The course considers: ante nuptial agreements, marriage, annulment, divorce, division of property incident to divorce, maintenance, custody, visitation, child support, adoption, termination of parental rights, and ethical issues.
