Prerequisite: SPAN 250.

Advanced conversation and composition course designed to develop greater fluency in speech and writing through diverse readings and activities. Taught in Spanish and required for Spanish majors.

Outcomes: Students will be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend readings in Spanish at the advanced, third-year college level.

This section of SPAN 251 combines classroom instruction with online conversation sessions with Ecuadorian university students, and 9 days of cultural immersion in Ecuador. All students enrolled in this section are required to complete the travel component during Spring break (March 2-10, 2024). Students unable to participate in the travel program should enroll in SPAN 251-002 (2270) - MWF 10:25am-11:15am.
