Description
This course covers basic molecular and cellular studies of living organisms, emphasizing the relationships between subcellular structures and biochemical and physiological functions of cells.

Prerequisites: Biophysics majors ONLY: (BIOL 101 and 111) and (CHEM 102 or CHEM 106 or CHEM 180); All other majors: BIOL 102 and 112) and [(CHEM 102 and 112) or CHEM 106 or CHEM 180].

Outcomes: Students will become familiar with a wide range of cell biological principles and experimental approaches that led to important discoveries, gain an appreciation of the scientific method, and learn about the goals of modern cell biology research.
Enrollment Requirements
