Description
Prerequisites: BIOL 101 and 111.

A continuation of BIOL 101. Fundamental principles of Biology including: evolutionary theory; general principles of ecology; study of plant structure and function; and comparative animal physiology.

Outcomes: Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental principles of ecology and evolution, as well as the anatomy and physiology of representative plant and animal phyla.

This blended class will be split between online and in-person. The online component of the class will consist of asynchronous lectures, while the in-person component will consist of some in-person lectures as well as in-class discussion where students have the opportunity to work together to answer question sets.
