Description
Project management framework, terms, and fundamental concepts are introduced in this course. The application of project management processes and tools within healthcare environments is emphasized. Students learn to manage a project from concept to completion and share responsibilities in the execution of a real-world team project.

Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to: 1. Perform the developmental steps necessary to execute a project 2. Utilize tools critical to project management 3. Produce project deliverables within a team environment 4. Differentiate between a functional manager and a project manager 5. Apply problem-solving techniques to the project management process 6. Explore concept of risk control in project management .
