Description
This course is an introduction to the basic elements of Spanish language and culture. It is designed for students with no previous experience in Spanish.

Outcomes: Students will be able to understand simple messages and short narratives, respond to basic inquiries about themselves and others, formulate basic questions, as well as understand basic written texts.

PLEASE NOTE: This J-term course is a "re-entry" SPAN 101 section designed for students who have studied Spanish in the past, but feel they need a refresher course before enrolling in SPAN 102. Beginning Spanish students SHOULD NOT enroll in this course.
